The WCSG currently consists of one (1) Professor, three (3) postdoctoral researchers and five (5) PhD students. It is a dynamic and particularly active research group that has published hundreds of scientific and technical papers.

The WCSG conducts fundamental and applied research in the broader fields of telecommunications systems and signal processing, both independently and by means of more than 30 international collaborations. In particular, the research interests and experience of the Group spans a variety of research areas:

  1. Communication and Information Theory
  2. Wireless Power Transfer
  3. Optical Wireless Communications
  4. Cloud-based Radio Access Networks
  5. Satellite Communications
  6. Stochastic Processes in Molecular Biology
  7. Molecular and Nanoscale Communications
